Fr. Josh Wilbur is a native of Goshen, Connecticut, and was ordained a priest for the Archdiocese of Hartford on June 23, 2018 by Archbishop Leonard Blair. He attended seminary at St. John's Seminary in Boston where he earned a Bachelor of Philosophy and Master of Divinity, as well as an S.T.B. from 2012-2018 and was then assigned to Annunciation Parish in Newington following his ordination from 2018-2022. Prior to his studies in the seminary, Fr. Josh was the music teacher at St. Thomas the Apostle School in West Hartford for five years. He earned his Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education from The Hartt School of the University of Hartford in 2004.
Fr. Josh also currently serves as the Chaplain for St. Paul Catholic High School on Bristol. One of his favorite words is "joy," especially when made in reference to the joy that we find in each other and through our Lord. "I have told you these things so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete." - John 15:11
