House of Bread

The House of Bread Ministry is a group of dedicated parishioners who provide assistance to the House of Bread, a soup kitchen in Hartford, Connecticut.

With the assistance of many volunteers, including those from St. Patrick Church, the House of Bread staff serves breakfast and lunch Monday through Friday to people in need from the Hartford area. In addition, a volunteer group serves a main meal on Saturdays and breakfast on Sundays.

Volunteers from St. Patrick Church serve one breakfast every other other month on the second Sunday of the month, preparing and serving food for approximately 175 guests.
